It might take a few Poké Balls, but once you catch a Nosepass, just give it to Gully and she will hand over a piece of Black Augurite in return.
Unlike other methods, you can only receive one Black Augurite from this request, but that’s a small price to pay for not needing to hunt one down.
Where to Find Black Augurite in Pokémon Legends Arceus: Graveler
In previous Pokémon games, wild Steel-type Pokémon such as Magnemite, Skarmory, and Steelix had a 2-5% chance of dropping a Metal Coat when defeated. Since Black Augurite is used to evolve Scyther into a Bug/Rock-type, it’s only fitting to farm the item with Rock-type enemies. Well, one Rock-type Pokémon, anyway.
Graveler is the only Pokémon that drop Black Augurite in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. These bounding boulders live in a variety of locations, including the Sandgem Flats of Obsidian Fieldlands, the Scarlet Bog of Crimson Mirelands, and the Windbreak Stand of Cobalt Coastlands. Just pick a fight with any Graveler, defeat it, and you might get a Black Augurite for your troubles. If not, find another one, repeat the process, and cross your fingers.
While the odds that a Graveler will leave behind a piece of Black Augurite aren’t exactly high, the game spawns so many of them that you probably won’t have to farm for long before you have enough.
